Membership Terms

Finance.vet LLC ("we," "us," or "our") offers two optional monthly memberships for Finance.vet: Planning Platform Access ($10/month) and Member Access ($40/month) for veterans who want to start before a partner-funded enrollment wave opens. Partner-funded programs remain completely free to veterans in those programs. These memberships are optional.

By completing checkout for either membership, you agree to these Membership Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the site disclosures. If you do not agree, do not purchase.

Neither membership fee is an investment advisory fee. Planning Platform Access and Member Access pay for platform access (and, for Member Access, limited advocate time) — not investment advisory services under Form ADV.

Paying for either membership does not by itself create an investment-advisory client relationship. Advisory services, if any, require a signed investment advisory agreement and Form ADV delivery under separate rules.

While your Planning Platform Access subscription is active and in good standing, it includes access to the member portal with your private planning tools.

The $10/mo charge covers token usage, third-party API costs, and keeping the tools running.

Planning tools only — no Advocate calls. This keeps the platform available while you wait for sponsorship or if you prefer to go it alone.

Planning Platform Access costs $10.00 USD per month. Member Access costs $40.00 USD per month. Both are billed in advance through Stripe on behalf of Finance.vet LLC. There is no annual discount under these terms unless we publish a separate offer.

The $10/mo charge covers token usage, third-party API costs, and keeping the tools running.

You authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Receipts and invoices are provided by Stripe. You can manage payment method and cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal link we provide (or by emailing support).

If you upgrade from Planning Platform Access to Member Access, the change applies immediately and is prorated for the remainder of the current billing period.

If you downgrade from Member Access to Planning Platform Access, the change applies at the end of the current billing period. You keep Member Access inclusions (including Advocate calls) until that period ends.

Existing Member Access members at $40.00 USD per month as of the Effective Date (including grandfathered accounts such as Cassie) remain on Member Access at $40.00 USD per month and are not automatically moved to Planning Platform Access. They may upgrade or downgrade under Tier changes if they choose.

You may cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues through the end of the paid period unless we state otherwise in the Customer Portal.

Member Access: If you request a refund before your kickoff call has been delivered, we will provide a prorated refund of the current billing period.

Member Access: After your kickoff call has been delivered, membership fees for the then-current period are non-refundable. You may still cancel to stop future charges.

Planning Platform Access does not include a kickoff call, so the Member Access kickoff refund rule does not apply.

Finance.vet remains free to veterans in partner-funded programs. If you later join an active sponsored cohort, we will stop billing your optional membership (typically by canceling at period end or immediately per our ops process) so sponsored members are not charged.

Joining the waitlist or asking a local Veterans Service Organization about sponsoring a cohort does not require payment.

Advocates help you finish your plan, assign tasks, and answer educational questions. They are not investment adviser representatives for securities recommendations, are not paid commissions to sell investments, and do not file or appeal VA disability claims.

Optional investment advisory services are provided separately by Finance.vet LLC under applicable advisory agreements and Form ADV — not under either membership fee.

We limit active paid memberships so we can keep the platform sustainable and, for Member Access, so advocates can deliver real human support. When capacity is full, we may hide or pause the purchase path until space opens. Member Access purchase does not guarantee immediate kickoff if you delay responding to booking invitations.

After checkout, we will email instructions to create or activate your member account (typically a secure link to set a password). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Login.gov or other sign-in options may be offered when available.

We do not store your full card number on our servers; payment processing is handled by Stripe.

We may update these Membership Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of either membership after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
